Managing Your LimeLite Credits

CREDITS: What Are They?
At LimeLite, we make video simple, and that starts with understanding your credits. Your LimeLite subscription comes with a set number of videos per year (i.e., 6, 12, or 18); however, by default each video is built from two credits (one shoot and one edit), so understanding how you spend them is the key to making the most of your plan. Because it takes both a shoot and an edit to produce a finished video, you can think of a complete video as a simple math equation:
Shoot Credit + Edit Credit = 1 LimeLite Video
HOW MANY CREDITS DO I GET:
The number of credits you receive depends on your subscription plan. Each plan is designed to match the pace and volume of video content your team needs.
- Essential Plan → 6 videos per year = 12 credits
- Plus Plan → 12 videos per year = 24 credits
- Pro Plan → 18 videos per year = 36 credits
Remember: 2 credits = 1 LimeLite Video
Pro-Tip: Think of your credits like a balance you can spend over the year, but there’s a monthly limit to keep things manageable. For all LimeLite plans, you can use up to your standard monthly credit allotment, but if you need a little extra flexibility, you can use up to DOUBLE that amount within a given month when utilizing flexible scheduling (i.e., 2, 4, or 6).
HOW TO USE YOUR CREDITS:
By default, we know that creating a finished video requires 1 shoot credit and 1 edit credit. However, you’re not limited to this standard approach. Subscribers can use their credits in other ways to best fit their video marketing needs. For example, you can spend two credits in a single month on two shoots, or two credits on two edits, giving you the freedom to capture more content or complete multiple editing sessions without waiting. This flexibility allows it to be easy to plan around special projects, events, or campaigns while still keeping track of your available credits.
TRACKING YOUR CREDITS:
To make managing your LimeLite video credits even easier, we’ve created a simple downloadable tracker. Subscribers can use it to log each shoot, edit, or project, and see exactly how many credits they’ve used and how many remain.
